Changing Room Development underway !

The planned erection of new changing rooms and integral scorebox commenced at Hill Top on Tuesday 11th May, with the excavation of the banking adjacent to the existing changing rooms. Joint Presidents James & Tim Garside ("Dig and Dug") of Garside Developments moved into gear. Funding for the project has recently been boosted with the news of Kirklees Council's Culture and Leisure Services Capital Projects scheme pledging £22,000, a fantastic gesture. The club are grateful to the effort, guidance and support of Claire Howe of the Council's Leisure Services division throughout the process An album has been created on the web site for the development, so progress can be followed Other support has been received from the community, local tradesmen and members of the club, as well as Huddersfield Common Good Trust, for which SC & BC are indebted. Completion of the project will provide a fantastic new facility for the use of the local community, schools and our existing members, inclduing tenants Slaithwaite United FC.
